Shrewsbury Mountaineering Club has around 100 members. We encourage members to participate in a range of club events and activities from day and weekend meets in the UK to longer trips abroad. Prospective members are welcome to come along to a few day meets or even a weekend away as well as Tuesday evenings to see if you like us before joining.
The membership fee for 2010 is £20.00 and the fee due in January of each year. Nearly half of this fee is payable to the British Mountaineering Council and provides each club member with third party insurance cover. Submissions of members to the BMC are made quarterly. If a member joins between these submission dates the BMC will cover them with third party insurance until the next quarterly submission.
Please note that Membership is only available to applicants over the age of 18 years.
